If your palms look like feather dusters, you've been robbed.

Most Florida landscapers will quote you a “hurricane cut” every August.

They'll strip your palms to pencil-points and tell you it'll help them survive the storm.

Here's what the University of Florida actually found: 99% of native Sabal palms survived hurricane-force winds — untouched. The stripped ones? Weaker. More disease. More likely to die in the year after the storm.

Over-pruned palms don't just look bad. They starve. Every green frond is the palm's stomach. Cut too many, and the tree begins burning through its own reserves.

That $8,000 Canary Island Date Palm on your estate? One dirty saw blade can kill it in 18 months. And the landscaper that did it is already onto the next house.

9-to-3 prune (correct)

UF/IFAS standard

Hurricane cut (wrong)

Starves the palm. Kills the tree.

We're the only crew in the Keys pruning to UF/IFAS standard. And we'll prove it.

First-Class Appearance

Light-gray uniforms. White leather gloves. White trucks. Branded hats. Your guests and neighbors will ask who we are before we've finished unloading.

Science-Backed Pruning

We follow UF/IFAS research, not “the way it's always done.” Tools sanitized between every palm. No hurricane cuts. No pineapples. Ever.

Written Standards, Not Promises

We're the only landscaping company in Florida with a published 54-page field manual. You'll get a copy. Your crew will follow it on every visit.

Why homeowners who've tried three other landscapers stop calling after they hire us

ACTIVE FEDERAL SUBCONTRACT

National Weather Service — Key West, FL

We maintain the grounds at a federal weather station. That contract requires background-checked crews, documented procedures, and on-time scheduling under audit. We run every residential property the same way.

Three landscapers in four years. Nobody cared. Then Jakub's crew showed up in uniform and spent forty-five minutes explaining what the last guys had done wrong. A year in, our palms look like the cover of a magazine.

We manage eleven short-term rentals. One vendor, one invoice, photo reports after every visit. My guests stopped complaining about the yard the first month.

They cleared a mangrove lot our commercial tenant had given up on. Done in four days, under quote. Same crew maintains it now.

Who's behind the 747?

My name is Jakub. I grew up in the Florida Keys. My dad's a builder. I've been cutting, planting, and fixing this state's yards since I was old enough to hold a rake.

I started Evergreen Islands because I was tired of seeing $15,000 palms killed by $20-an-hour crews who didn't know what a meristem was.

Today we maintain the grounds at the National Weather Service in Key West. We manage properties from Big Pine to Fort Myers. And we're the only company I know of in Florida with a published field manual our crew is trained on before they ever touch your palms.

If that sounds different from the landscaper you had last year — good. That's the point.

Objections, answered

Everything you're about to ask.

Residential service typically runs $250–$500 per month depending on property size and service tier. Vacation rentals and larger estates are higher. After the walkthrough you get three transparent options — Essential, Signature, First Class — and you pick the one that fits. Pricing is locked for 12 months.

No. We work month to month. Cancel any visit with 48 hours notice. If we're not earning your business every month, we shouldn't keep it.

Cheap landscaping is expensive. A $50-a-visit crew butchering a $15,000 Canary Date Palm costs you the palm. We're not the cheapest. We're the last one you'll hire — because your palms will actually be healthier in three years than they are today.

Most of our clients do. We send a photo report after every visit, bill through whichever card you set up, and handle guests, deliveries, and emergencies without calling you. Absentee owners are our specialty.

We book walkthroughs within 7–10 days. Once you sign on, most monthly clients start within 2 weeks. Urgent cleanups can often be scheduled sooner — call the 747 if it's time-sensitive.

Yes. We coordinate visits around your booking calendar, clean up before turnover days, and send photo reports your cleaning company and guests can see. Nothing kills an Airbnb review like a yard full of debris on arrival day.

The Florida Keys (from Key West through Key Largo) and Fort Myers / Cape Coral. If you're outside those areas and still interested, call — we sometimes make exceptions for larger commercial projects.

We do one-offs — hurricane cleanup, mangrove clearing, estate rehab, commercial grounds work. Pick “one big project” on the quiz and we'll quote it within a week.
